Barcelona prepares for largest Euro Attractions Show
The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions will host its first trade show event 20-22 September at the Gran Via Convention Center
(Brussels, Belgium) — Interest is at a high level for Euro Attractions Show (EAS) 2016 conference and networking events. The expanded offerings include IAAPA Institutes, EDUTours, and special events and networking receptions. Spread over five days (18-22 September 2016), EAS 2016 will bring European leisure and attractions industry professionals together for the largest trade show and conference of its kind in the region. Participation in the event continues to grow strongly, with multiple subevents already sold out.
EAS 2016 features more than 20 sessions, including the well-known global IAAPA education programs the IAAPA Institute for Attractions Managers and the IAAPA Safety Institute. EAS 2016 seminars will discuss Middle East development, lodging and resort development, dining experiences, pricing and yield management, emergency response plans, development of edutainment opportunities, creation of shows and events, development of VIP programs, and more. This years’ CEO Talk will bring together the CEO’s from large parks, water parks, and FEC chains in Spain to give their insights on leadership, the industry, and its future.
As the attractions industry major business event in Europe, EAS also offers a behind-the-scenes look at some of Catalunya’ s top attractions, including an EDUTour at Barcelona Aquarium, PortAventura, and the underconstruction Ferrari Land. As part of a specialized session for water park professionals there will be a tour of the Illa Fantasia Waterpark.
EAS participants can also enjoy multiple, exclusive networking opportunities to interact with colleagues in a relaxed environment, including the Opening Reception at Tibidabo and the Young Professionals Forum.

Euro Attractions Show, which is owned and produced by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), takes place 20-22 September 2016. The exhibition is open on Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. On Thursday, the exhibition is open from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Additional information is available www.IAAPA.org/EAS.
