At the 2015 ‘Golden Ticket Awards’, Europa-Park managed to stand up to the strong competition from all over the world and triumph yet again. Once again, Germany’s largest theme park second year in a row was voted ‘Best Amusement Park Worldwide’, the most important category in the renowned ‘Golden Ticket Awards’ run by the American trade journal Amusement Today.
The awards ceremony announcing the best theme parks and attractions took place on the 11th and 12th of September in New York. Experienced international jurors were once again invited to cast their vote for their favourites for the 18th time in 25 categories in total. Europa-Park was crowned the winner in the category of ‘Best Amusement Park Worldwide’. Once again, the family company from Rust, Baden, were able to stand up to the strong international competition. The mix and variety of rides for the young and the old, a 23-hour show programme, accurate thematisation, excellent restaurants and lavish themed hotels were the deciding factors.
At the awards ceremony in New York, Michael Mack made the following comment: ´This year, Europa-Park celebrates its 40th birthday and we could not have hoped for a better recognition of our good work from the trade than the vote of a worldwide jury of experts. This incredible honour represents recognition of our work: we will continue to give our all every day to keep inspiring our visitors with quality and attention to detail, time and time again´.
